Wrapped in Glory: An InterludeThere it was again. That arrogant, belittling laugh of his. It rang in Nero’s ears as he positioned Yamato to strike, darting forward; ready to plunge the sword deep into the assassins’ gut, only to find himself falling face-first onto a bloody, sticky carpet. His senses, heightened by the demon that stalked him upon the use of Yamato, informed Nero that his nemesis had reclaimed his sword.  
 
His reaction time was perhaps slowed by the surprise of his enemy’s simple yet effective counter. At least, that was the excuse Nero produced when he found Rebellion sink into the ground beside his head, trapped by the harsh me Wrapped in Glory: An Interlude

Can I really do that?

Everybody argues with their parents, right? And occasionally we say that we hate them, could kill them, etc, but we wouldn't really. Because they've done a lot for us, even if we don't notice or appreciate it.

I'm not the best child in the world. I admit, I am fucking lazy with housework - But I'll do it if I'm asked. But my Mom will never have to worry about me becoming addicted to crack, either.

One of the things I'll concede about myself in a positive way is that I have a brain, and I like to use it. I'm not sure if clever is the best way of classifying me, because that sounds egotistical and believe me, I am not like that.

When I return to College in September after summer break, they will want a definitive list of my University choices. I know which one I want to go to, but can I really, honestly go there? It's only an hour away from where I live, fair enough. But I'm thinking of living there. I have an older sister who has moved out, and my Mom divorced my father many years ago.

Can I really just let her live by herself like that? My sister lives alone and it's brought her many sad, lonely evenings. And though she loves my Mom, she couldn't move back in. Not just for the sake of pride, but because she's tasted freedom.

I should probably discuss this with Mom herself. But I don't know if I can do this to her. I feel like a bad kid doing this.
